Mental Health Programs

Offers services for children and youth up to age 18 who are experiencing severe mental and emotional distress or serious psychiatric symptoms. Inpatient treatment includes admission into one of the following psychiatric units; Child and Adolescent Psychiatric Emergency (CAPE), Child Psychiatry, Adolescent Psychiatry, or Eating Disorders. Outpatient treatment includes assessment, consultation, and short-term treatment through the following specialty clinics: General Psychiatry, Mood and Anxiety Disorders, Neuropsychiatry, Attention Deficit Hyperactivity Disorders (ADHD), Infant Psychiatry, Urgent Assessment, Obsessive Compulsive Disorder (OCD), Genetic Counselling, Eating Disorders, Reproductive Mental Health, and Youth Concurrent Disorders Clinic. Medical referral required.
