Metis Central Registry

Registry responsible for compiling and maintaining a database of Metis citizens in BC, and recognized by provincial and federal governments as the official political representative of Metis people in BC. It is based on three process requirements: self-identification, ancestral connection to the historic Metis community, and contemporary Metis community acceptance. Application can be completed online or offline. Office hours are 8:30 am to 4:30 pm Monday to Friday.
