Métis Housing Rent Supplement Program

Supports low-income Métis renters with rent supplement payments for a temporary period. Individuals and families spending more than 30 percent of their household income on rent may qualify for a payment up to a maximum of $475 a month. Payments are delivered to the applicant through an electronic funds transfer (EFT). Applicants be an MNBC citizen; be a resident of BC for at least one year; have a total gross annual household income of $54,000 or less; and provide their current Residential Tenancy Act (RTA) compliant Rental Agreement from their landlord.
