Mobile Peer Team

Offers harm reduction services and supplies to people who use drugs and/or engage in sex work in Maple Ridge, Surrey, and the Tri-Cities (Coquitlam, Port Coquitlam, and Port Moody). Services include peer-based information and education regarding safe using and overdose prevention and response, information about recent drug and sex work alerts, and connecting people to other supports in the community. Also offers outreach support, referrals to other supports in the community such as housing and substance use services, and naloxone training and distribution. Provides safer sex supplies including condoms, and provides retrieval of harm reduction supplies in areas where inappropriate discards are found. In Maple Ridge and the Tri-cities, offers confidential testing of substances to detect contaminants such as fentanyl. Program hours are 12 noon to 4 pm Monday to Friday.
