Service Description

A program for immigrant and refugee women who speak English at an intermediate level and are ready to start exploring employment, education or training options. Participants will build an action oriented plan (goal setting) guided by a Participant and Program Support Worker. The program encourages social interaction in an intercultural environment while practicing English speaking skills. Participants learn about Canadian work environments, norms and practices, job search skills and more. Childcare is available for children 18 months to five years of age. Fee is 30$ per semester.
