Multicultural Family Centre

Works with immigrant and refugee communities to deliver culturally appropriate health promotion programs and services for newcomers. Services include information and referral to health, community, and social services, and practical assistance in navigating health and social service systems. Also provides counselling, cross-cultural facilitation, and promotes cross-cultural competence among health care providers. Offers Nobody's Perfect, a six- to eight-week free parenting program for Vietnamese and African parents with children from birth to age five. Programs focus on African, Middle Eastern, Latin American, and Vietnamese communities. Hours are 9:30 am to 5 pm Monday to Thursday, and 1 pm to 5 pm on Friday.
