Neighbourhood Small Grants

Through local partnerships, builds community and strengthens connections right where people live by providing up to $500 in funding to individuals for eligible small-scale projects that build and strengthen community. Basic principles of grassroots grantmaking include using an asset-based community development approach, believing in the power of small-scale initiatives, supporting local leadership, maintaining a local place-based approach, fostering skill-building and knowledge exchange, and creating accessibility and inclusion.
