Provides a supportive learning environment for newcomer single parents to gain skills for life in Canada. From October to May, participants meet weekly for two-hour workshops on setting goals, budgeting, job search and interview preparation, and managing stress, while also learning about local resources and cooking healthy, low-cost meals together in a community kitchen.
