Service Description

Provides health care for individuals with non-life-threatening conditions who need to see a health care provider within 12 to 24 hours, but don't require an emergency department. Provides basic in-office care services for conditions such as sprains and simple fractures, minor cuts requiring stitches, minor burns; rapid access to mental health and substance use crisis intervention services; assessment and treatment for minor illnesses; and on-site or nearby access to diagnostic imaging and laboratory services. Also identifies unattached patients and connects them to doctors and nurse practitioners in the community, providing support until they're connected. Open year-round, including statutory holidays; hours are from 8 am to 10 pm Monday to Saturday, and from 9 am to 5 pm on Sundays. Serves residents and visitors of the North Shore, including Bowen Island, Lions Bay, North Vancouver, and West Vancouver. Operated in partnership with the Ministry of Health and North Shore Division of Family Practice.
