Service Description
Provides public health services including food, water, and sanitation inspections on board common carriers such as cruise ships, passenger ferries, aircrafts, trains, and their ancillary services. Additional public health activities include the ship sanitation inspection program for international cargo vessels, quarantine-related duties, and monitoring and responding to gastrointestinal disease outbreaks on board passenger conveyances. Office hours are 8:30 am to 4 pm Monday to Friday.
