Older Adult Mental Health Program - Powell River

Provides a range of specialized mental health care and support services for older adults who are 65 and over and who are experiencing a recently developed mental health issue such as depression or bipolar disorder, have high-risk behaviours related to advancing dementia, or have medical problems related to aging that complicate the treatment of a mental illness. Services include assessment, psychiatric consultation, treatment, case management, rehabilitation, outreach, and education. Open referral. Serves Powell River, Lund, Savary Island, Harwood Island, Lasqueti Island, and Texada Island, including Gillies Bay and Van Anda. Hours are 8:30 am to 4:30 pm Monday to Friday.
