Older Adult Mental Health Rehabilitation Services

Provides Bright Spot, a psychosocial day program, as well as individual occupational therapy assessment and rehabilitation services for older adults ages 65 and up who have a major mental illness and personal, social, and/or leisure needs. Also offers peer support, as well as health and wellness, and leisure groups. To be eligible, clients must be an existing client of VCH Older Adult Mental Health and Addictions, or VGH's Geriatric Psychiatry Outreach Team; others may be considered if the community resources are inappropriate or inadequate to meet their rehabilitation needs. Also runs out of an office at 311-2750 East Hastings Street (604-675-3896). Serves Vancouver. Hours are 8:30 am to 5 pm Monday to Friday.
