On-Reserve Income Assistance Program

Assists on-reserve residents and persons with Indian Status in the Yukon to cover the costs of their daily living and provides funding to access employment supports. Delivered in accordance with the income assistance rates and eligibility of the individual's province of residence or the Yukon. Program is operated by Indigenous communities, organizations, and other service providers on behalf of Indigenous Services Canada (ISC). Applications are through band offices or ISC's Yukon regional office.
