Residential detox facility staffed 24-hours by health care support workers. Provides 12 private rooms, 12-hour nursing care, assessment, and referrals to post-detox treatment and recovery resources. Offers withdrawal management for most substances, except alcohol and benzodiazepines. Serves adults aged 19 and over, except pregnant women, or people with a history of uncontrolled seizures. Screening and referrals through Access Central. Operated collaboratively by PHS Community Services Society and Vancouver Coastal Health. Access Central phone hours are 9 am to 7:45 pm, seven days a week.
