Onyx Program - Non-Lower Mainland

Provides voluntary support services for sexually exploited youth ages 19 and under, including those who are victims of human trafficking. Assesses youth and develops a treatment plan that may include substance misuse treatment, education, housing, and one-to-one support. Also connects youth with community services, and provides follow-up support for youth who are exiting. Self-referrals are accepted. Serves youth residing in or frequenting the Ministry of Children and Family Development's Vancouver Coastal Region, which includes Bella Bella, Bella Coola, and Powell River. Offered in partnership with Family Services of Greater Vancouver, and Children of the Street Society. Funded by Ministry of Children and Family Development.
