Palliative Care Unit (PCU)

12-bed interdisciplinary unit focusing on the acute care needs of people living with life-limiting illness. Provides assessment, diagnoses, and treatment of complex pain and other symptoms. Also provides palliative outreach and consultation to individuals who are in-hospital or living in residential care facilities within Providence Health Care. Outreach hours are 8 am to 4 pm Monday to Friday.
