Parenting for Immigrants

Offers classes to immigrants and refugees on parenting in a new country. Topics include child development, the Canadian school system, child-care options, positive discipline, and healthy nutrition. Provides the opportunity to meet other parents and share experiences. Classes run at several locations throughout Burnaby. By donation. Child care is provided onsite for children ages 18 months to 10 years. Snacks and bus tickets are provided.
