Parenting Training and Support Program

Family support workers provide support services to parents and blended families with children under the age of 19; meets with families in the home or in the community. Aim is to help improve communication, manage conflict, and cope with stress. Services include individual and group support, parenting education, and help accessing services such as for mental health and alcohol and drug issues. Accepts referral from self or other. Funded by Ministry of Children and Family Development (MCFD). Hours vary.
