Indoor facilities include fitness centres, swimming pools, ice rinks, gymnasiums, multipurpose rooms, and art, dance and music studios. Rental space also available. Outdoor amenities include outdoor swimming pools, tennis courts, sports fields and courts, lacrosse boxes, and water parks.Operates the Ladner Leisure Centre, Sungod Recreation Centre, Winskill Aquatic and Fitness Centre, North Delta Recreation Centre, South Delta Recreation Centre, Harris Barn, Ladner Community Centre, Kennedy Seniors Recreation Centre, KinVillage Community Centre, McKee Seniors Recreation Centre, Tilbury Ice, Pinewood Leisure Centre, and the Tsawwassen Arts Centre. Offers a wide variety of recreational, social, and cultural programs, for all ages and abilities including children, youth, families, seniors, and people with disabilities. Offers financial assistance for recreation such Leisure Access Assistance Program, which provides subsidies for low-income residents; Jumpstart, see separate listing; Kidsport, see separate listing and the Eric Ripplinger Memorial Fund for Swim Lessons, which offers complete or partial funding for children six months to 12 years of age to learn how to swim. Office hours are 8:30 am to 4:45 pm on Monday to Wednesday and Friday; 8:30 am to 8 pm on Thursday.
