Peace of Mind Workshops

Service Description

Workshops that help secondary students to build awareness of social, emotional, and mental health issues. Provides practical considerations pertaining to overall wellness, in addition to tips for reaching out and finding support when needed. Aim is to develop skills that promote resiliency in the face of common challenges that high school students may encounter. Workshops are delivered in high school classrooms by professionally trained volunteers. Each workshop focuses on a key topic and is targeted to a particular age group. Funded by the City of Richmond, and the provincial government. Office hours are 9 am to 4:30 pm Monday to Friday.
