Pedals for the People (PFTP) Free Bike Program

Connects individuals in severe or ongoing financial crisis with a free or low-cost bicycle. Recipients also receive $100 value in maintenance costs per year and a 40 percent discount on entry level bike parts. Referral required from a social service agency, health or recovery service, or community organization that can confirm that applicants face financial barriers. Funded by Province of BC, Government of Canada Emergency Community Support Fund, Vancouver Foundation, and TransLink.
