Peer Support Program

Service Description

Provides one-on-one assistance to people who are recovering from a mental illness and who are receiving mental health services. Trained peer support workers, who have had personal experience with mental illness, empower mental health consumers to achieve their goals. Services include life skills support and referrals to community resources. Typical program length is six months. Program is also offered in Cantonese, Mandarin, and Spanish. Referral required from a mental health professional.
