Service Description

20-bed community residential facility for people diagnosed with a severe and persistent mental illness, including those managing co-occurring mental health and substance use disorders. Guided by a resident-centred, psychosocial rehabilitation approach, the focus is on empowering residents to develop the necessary skills for a seamless transition to independent community living. Tailored skill development includes budgeting and finances, communication skills, medication education, and networking with community services and support. Referrals through the New Westminster Mental Health Centre. Licensed as a registered mental health residential care facility under the Community Care and Assisted Living Act. Intake hours are 8:30 am to 4:30 pm Monday to Friday. Funded by Fraser Health.
