Prenatal Screening

Service Description
Provides blood testing and ultrasound screening for pregnant women to test if their baby may have a birth defect, such as a chromosome abnormality, trisomy 18 or an open neural tube defect. These tests are ordered by a health care provider and can be done at any hospital or laboratory. Referral required from a physician, midwife, or obstetrician. Ultrasound department is open Monday to Friday; appointment required.
