Primary Care Nurse Practitioners

Provides primary care to people living with cancer who do not have a family doctor. Services are provided by nurse practitioners and may include diagnosing and treating illness, prescribing medicine, consulting with cancer specialists, monitoring short and longer term effects of cancer and treatment, and screening for recurrence or second cancers. Self-referral accepted. Clinics are located in Vancouver and Surrey. Vancouver clinic hours are 9 am to 5 pm Monday to Thursday, and 9 am to 4 pm on Fridays. The Surrey clinic is located at the Surrey Urgent Primary Care Centre (City Centre 2, Unit G2, 9639 137A Street); hours are 9 am to 5 pm Monday to Friday. Serves Burnaby, Coquitlam, Delta, Ladner, Langley, Mission, Port Coquitlam, Port Moody, North Vancouver, Richmond, Surrey, Vancouver, West Vancouver, and White Rock.
