Service Description

Supports the health system's ability to deliver accessible care to BC's linguistically diverse population by providing health-focused interpreting and translation in over 150 languages, 24 hours a day. Interpreting services are provided over the phone or face-to-face, province-wide. Provides sign language interpreter and intervenor services, in partnership with the Wavefront Centre for Communication Accessibility; see separate listing. Health care service providers register for the service. Fees may be charged.
