Provincial Substance Use Treatment Program

Service Description

Provides structured, supportive residential substance use treatment programs for individuals ages 19 years or over who have severe or high-risk substance use concerns that have not been successfully addressed at the community level. Program is 90 days with six to 12 months of aftercare support. Services include assessment, stabilization, treatment, education, family programs, and alternative therapies. Referral required through a health care professional. Individuals attend on a voluntary basis. Services are provided under contract by Phoenix Society in Surrey and Elizabeth Fry Society of Greater Vancouver in Abbotsford; see independent listings for details.
