The secure and quieter unit includes four private-room beds, a consultation room, and a waiting lounge for four more patients. Services include rapid assessment, treatment and stabilization of mental health and/or substance use-related disorders, and integrated care from various consulting teams including addictions, medicine, and acute psychiatry staff.
