RCMP Crisis Intervention Unit

Provides initial crisis intervention and support to victims and witnesses of crime and other significant trauma, 24 hours a day, seven days a week. Makes referrals to appropriate community agencies, explains the criminal justice system, and outlines steps involved in investigations and prosecutions. Provides information about the Crime Victim Assistance Program. Assists victims with court process and provides updates on the status of court appearances. Office hours are 7 am to 10 pm Monday to Friday. Funding provided by the Ministry of Public Safety and Solicitor General (MPSSG).
