Service Description

Provides 28 units of permanent housing for adults with a history of homelessness. Support staff are on hand to provide assistance and life skills training where needed. Support services including daily meals, life-skills training, employment assistance and counselling, physical and mental health resources, and access to addiction treatment and recovery services. Also provides eight units of complex-care housing to address the needs of people who have overlapping mental-health challenges, substance-use issues, trauma and acquired brain injuries who often experience homelessness. Services include physical, mental-health and substance use care; social, emotional and community supports; personal care and personal living supports; and Indigenous cultural supports. The housing is voluntary and can connect those in need to treatment and specialized care, which can include support from nurses, peers, social workers and other health professionals. Referral required from Coordinated Access and Assessment (CAA); staff on site go through the intake package with guest. Not wheelchair accessible. Pets are allowed but the building has a limited capacity for pets; acceptance depends on current number. Funded by BC Housing.
