Respite Program

Service Description

Provides the families of children and youth ages five to 18, who have autism or a combination of autism and other special needs, with two nights respite per month on an ongoing basis. Children stay in the homes of foster respite caregivers who have been recruited, supported, and trained by the Children's Foundation. The program operates from Friday afternoon to Sunday afternoon. Referral through the Ministry of Children and Family Development (MCFD).
