Richmond Kinsmen Adult Day Centre

Therapeutic day program that reduces the social isolation of elderly, physically disabled, and cognitively impaired adults. Provides recreational activities, exercise programs, nutritious meals, personal health care, health care monitoring, and wellness promotion. Services such as massage therapy, nail, skin, hair, and foot care are available at the centre and are provided for by local businesses. Bi-monthly appointments with a podiatrist for assessment and any necessary treatment can be scheduled. Also provides support and respite for families and caregivers. Office hours are 8:30 am to 3:30 pm Monday to Saturday and program hours are 9 am to 2:30 pm Monday to Saturday. Referrals are made through Richmond Continuing Health Services; also accepts referrals from insurances such as ICBC and WorkSafe BC and private clients.
