Provides 24-hour emergency response for patients with dementia or Alzheimer's disease. Critical information and emergency hotline number are engraved on a blue identification bracelet. When called, emergency hotline specialists contact family members and caregivers to let them know the situation and location of their loved one. Also provides emergency responders with vital information, including identification, health records, up-to-date photo, wandering history, and emergency contacts. Office hours are 9 am to 5 pm Eastern time Monday to Friday. Provided in partnership with Alzheimer Society of Canada.
