Safe Choice Program

Independent living suites for self-identified women with or without children who are seeking safety from family violence. Accepts women fleeing domestic violence; may accept victims of other violence on a case-by-case basis. Male children are accepted on a case-by-case basis. Staff provide support, information, advocacy, and counselling. Residents may stay up to one year. Second-stage program, with referral required through a transition house. Personal identification is required. Serves the Lower Mainland. Funded by BC Housing.
