Service Description

Year-round, low-barrier, 24-hour shelter provides 35 beds in shared rooms for adults age 19 and older who are homeless; couples cannot stay together. A separate room may be available for transgender individuals on a case-by-case basis. Services include meals and access to shower and laundry facilities. Other services include outreach and case planning. Health-related services include 24-hour access to bed rest. Counselling and nursing services are available upon request, provided by Vancouver Coastal Health (VCH). Harm reduction focus and trauma-informed care. There is an overdose prevention site on the premises; see separate listing for details. Wheelchair accessible. Also offers Extreme Weather Response (EWR) shelter space downstairs.
