Service Description

The Selkirk First Nation's justice programs and services reflect restorative justice principles consistent with their values of caring, sharing, respect and teaching. These values are passed on by Elders as they are the experts regarding customary laws and traditions. May include community-based initiatives such as conferencing, pre- or post- diversion peacemaker circles or court, circle sentencing, community safety, land-based programs, reintegration, clan-based systems.
