Seniors' Homelessness Services

Service Description

Provides outreach and in-office support to older adults, age 55 and older who are homeless or at risk of losing their home. Services include assistance with eviction prevention, searching for suitable and affordable housing, helping to complete application forms, arranging for income support, and financial management. Also offers life and social skills development, nutrition support, elder abuse awareness, mentorship training, community engagement opportunities, and connections to community resources such as mental health care or primary health care. Small emergency subsidies are available to stabilize housing crises. Referral accepted from self or other. Office hours are 8:30 am to 5 pm Monday to Friday. Funded in part by BC Housing.
