Seniors Information and Referral Program

Provides free peer support in Spanish and English by trained information and referral volunteers. Volunteers supply information and can assist with completing applications for federal and provincial benefits such as Old Age Security (OAS), Canada Pension Plan (CPP), Guaranteed Income Supplement (GIS), Shelter Aid for Elderly Renters (SAFER), and PharmaCare, as well as a disability pension, bus pass programs (including HandyDART), and meal programs. Hours are 10:30 am to 12 noon Thursdays in English, and 9:30 am to 12 noon Wednesdays in Spanish.
