Seniors Information and Referral Program

Trained senior volunteers offer free, confidential information and referral regarding community services to seniors ages 55 and older. Also assists seniors to navigate through government systems, and fill out application forms. Topics include seniors benefits and entitlements, pensions, income tax, citizenship and permanent residency, medical plans, pharmacare, legal resources, housing, and shelter aid for renters. Service is available by phone, and in-person by appointment from 9 am to 5 pm Monday to Friday.
