Seniors Programs

Talking Tuesday offers opportunity for seniors to gather in-person or virtually. Tea, coffee and snacks provided. Adult Continuing Education program arranges training for seniors on demand in areas such as literacy, life skills, and educational workshops. South Vancouver Seniors Network (SVSN) offers weekly live webinars on Thursdays connecting seniors with experts, government and community leaders. Marpole Community Connectors program reaches out to isolated seniors through volunteers. Also distributes free My Life Kit booklets detailing personal information and medical history to seniors, people with chronic Illness, and people who live alone to help emergency responders in the event of an emergency.
