Seniors' Services

Provides seniors with opportunities to meet recreational, health, and social needs through programs that include instructional learning, physical activity, drop-in programs, special events, bus trips, and a social/recreational program for those living with mild to moderate dementia. There is a $5 annual membership fee. Offers a hot meal ($7) for pick up or delivery 2:30 pm Wednesdays, cut off to place order is 12 noon Mondays. Diners' Congregate Meal Program provides low-cost dinners at the Centre from 5 pm to 6 pm Tuesdays. Reservations must be made by 10 am on the day of the dinner. Take-home dinners may be ordered. Transportation to dinners is available on Parkgate's 20-seat passenger bus; transportation must be requested at the time dinner reservations are being made, and pick-ups are at 4:30 pm at the Atrium, Lions Manor, and Roche Point Towers. The 'Parkgate Peak' is a seasonal online newsletter with information about seniors' programs and services at the Centre.
