Service Description

Women-only overdose prevention site provides a safe, clean, and supported environment where women who use can inject their own drugs with staff and peers who care about their safety and security. Trans women, genderqueer women, and non-binary individuals who are significantly femme-identified are welcome. Provides harm reduction education and referrals to health services, addictions services, and other social supports. Provides opioid users with free Take Home Naloxone Kits (Narcan) that can be used to reverse the effects of overdoses from opioids like heroin, methadone, morphine, oxycodone, and fentanyl. Also offers housing support, legal advocacy, and other related services on site. Dinner is at 6 pm and coffee, tea, juice and snacks are available throughout the day. Operates in partnership with Vancouver Coastal Health (VCH), City of Vancouver, BC Housing, PHSA, and BC Women's Hospital. Hours are 6 pm to 12 noon, seven days a week; closed from 12 noon to 6 pm.
