Skills Training, Employment and Post Secondary (STEPS) Program - North Central

Provides financial assistance to support education and training for Metis people age 15 and over who are unemployed, underemployed, self-employed, or whose work environment is subject to change. Provides financial assistance to pursue training that is employable, builds transferable skills, and results in a recognized industry credential. To be eligible, individuals must self-identify as Metis or be of historic Metis Nation ancestry, and be accepted by the Metis Nation. Contact the office or submit online form to apply for support.
