Snow Angels Program - Richmond

Snow angel volunteers assist residents with health or mobility challenges who are in need of snow removal services for sidewalks and walkways, so that they are clear and safe for use. Volunteers are deployed after snow has stopped falling with snow accumulations of at least three cm; service is based on factors such as number of volunteers. Assists those who are unable to receive help from household members, family, friends, neighbours, or professional snow removal companies; provides an online list of private snow removal services. Local community groups, schools, or churches may also be able to offer help. For assistance during a snowfall event, contact the Snow Angel Coordinator prior to December 6th; residents calling after December 6th will be placed on a waitlist.
