Sorella Housing for Women and Children

Provides 108 units of housing to women on fixed incomes including women from Vancouver's Downtown Eastside who are homeless, at risk of homelessness, struggling with substance use, and struggling with mental illness. Priority is given to women who are pregnant and homeless, and to women who with safe, supportive housing, will be able to have their children returned from government care. Staffed 24 hours a day seven days a week. Offers social supports, resource referrals, a 16-step group, a community kitchen, and a parenting program. Rent is charged. Wheelchair accessible. Pets allowed. Funded by and applications through BC Housing.
