Service Description
Provides information, referrals, and advocacy for people who are homeless or at risk of homelessness. Services include housing advocacy and assistance to access income support, including communication with government departments, representation at appeals, mediation with landlords, and assistance applying for subsidized housing. Services can also be accessed through partner sites, who book weekly appointments for clients to meet with an advocate. Partners include Elizabeth Fry Society (604-520-1166), Gateway of Hope (604-514-7375), Fraser Region Aboriginal Friendship Centre Association (604-595-1170), Surrey Women's Centre Society (604-583-1295), and The Front Room (604-589-7777). Serves Aldergrove, Cloverdale, Delta, Ladner, Langley, Surrey, Tsawassen, and White Rock. Funded by Homelessness Partnering Strategy (HPS).
