Service Description
Addresses the advancement and promotion of the rule of law and a just society by providing professional and reliable legal advocacy to disadvantaged individuals in the community. Areas of service are income assistance; provincial disability issues; access to federal income security programs, particularly Canada Pension Plan Disability benefits; and residential tenancy issues. Provides information, advocacy, referral, assistance with appeals and representation at dispute resolution hearings and tribunals. Also provides offsite clinics at Options Community Services, and community outreach upon request. Services are free and confidential. Serves Delta, Langley, Surrey, and White Rock. Office hours are 9 am to 12 noon and 1 pm to 4:30 pm Monday to Friday.
