Service Description

Outreach Services provide emotional support, life skills training, and independence planning for transition to adulthood, and can serve as a bridge to community resources to improve the safety and stability for youth ages 13 to 18 who are at risk of leaving home. Services are designed to meet the individual needs of youth and can be provided in office, in the community, at school, or through group activities and programs. Family support is available through internal mediation and counselling services. Open referral. Parent-Teen Mediation offers support to youth and their parents experiencing relationship challenges. Services provide impartial mediation to reduce the risk of the youth leaving the family home or to work towards reunification following family breakdown. Open referral. Office hours are 9 am to 4:30 pm Monday to Friday. Funded by Ministry of Children and Family Development (MCFD).
