Service Description

Provides services for children and adolescents ages 12 to 19 who are experiencing mental health, emotional, and behavioural issues. Mental Health Child and Youth Program offers 12-session outreach support to children and youth in North Surrey, Cloverdale, Guildford, and Newton. Youth Justice Program / 1:1 Mental Health Support provides intensive clinical support and supervision for youth serving a probationary sentence. The Family Connections Centre offers a unique week-day residential service for youth ages 12 to 18 who are experiencing intense and protracted conflict with their parents. Youth stay in the residence during the week and go home on weekends. Also offers an after-care program with family counselling and parent support. Youth Residential Program provides safe and supportive environments in which adolescents live, while a team of youth care workers and family therapist work with the family and other community professionals toward long-term solutions to their problems. Services include family therapy, youth worker support, and community outreach. Referrals for all programs are through Ministry of Children and Family Development (MCFD). Serves Delta, Langley, Surrey, and White Rock. Office hours are 8:30 am to 4:30 pm Monday to Friday. Funded by MCFD.
