Provides highly specialized care and rehabilitation for people with spinal cord injuries. This includes traumatic and non-traumatic spinal cord injuries, as well as spina bifida (adults) in both an inpatient and outpatient setting. Interdisciplinary team consists of professionals in physiatry, nursing, occupational therapy, physical therapy, recreation therapy, and social work. The program also has access to centralized services within psychology, vocational counselling, dietetics, sexual health, orthotics, assistive technology, seating services, and addiction services. Offers individualized, goal-focused treatment programs, education sessions, interdisciplinary team reviews, and Telehealth, as well as consultation with community care providers. Serves BC and the Yukon.
